Appleland has teamed up with Handmade Ozaukee for an event for the whole family. With their first annual Sunflower Festival!
The sunflower fields have been loving these bright and sunny days as the summer winds down and are ready for Sunflower Festival!
Handmade Ozaukee did a a giveaway everyday through the month of August, as they counted down the days. It’s really been great to see the community come together, to get the word out.
This weekend Appleland will be featuring U-pick Honeycrisp! If you have missed filling your bag with beautiful, juicy Honeycrisp apples, this is your chance! The sun we be shining and the apples are waiting!
Tots On the Street will be there on Saturday serving up delicious tater tot creations of all kinds to suit your tastes. The Cupcake-A-Rhee will also be there on Saturday from 10 am- 12 pm with delicious cupcakes to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Sunday they will be serving brats, burgers and hot dogs with all the fixings!
Enjoy the beautiful day with music by Paul Tittle on Saturday from 12-3 pm. Enjoy the music as you check out nearly 40 vendors from Handmade Ozaukee with their creative artisan crafts of all kinds. Including face painting, balloon animals, baked goods, and so much more! This is truly an event you don't want to miss!
The Vendor Event is FREE to attend.
Sunflower Festival admission includes sunflower cuttings of no additional charge AND admission to the corn maze! ($5/ person or $10/family. )
Sunflowers are the perfect cheerful flower that reminds us to look forward to brighter days ahead and to always look towards the light.
